Her performance as Plavalaguna

[edit]

It is stated quite clearly that the vocals of the Diva Dance are physically impossible. The composer was astonished at the range of Ms. Mula but the vocal acrobatics themselves are clearly enhanced. Padillah (talk) 17:43, 18 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Nevertheless that was one breathtaking performance. All I could say was 'WOW' when I watched the movie. Maybe she should take it up again and make her own album. She certainly can SING :) 93.161.104.41 (talk) 15:46, 2 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
Which composer are you talking about? Perhaps this point ought to be expanded. --SciCorrector (talk) 01:02, 3 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Official Website not working

[edit]

Her official website is currently (October 3, 2011) not available. It's merely showing a splash page of the host (Media Temple). If it's still not working in a couple of weeks, someone can probably remove the link. --82.171.70.54 (talk) 00:26, 3 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

In reference to her appearance in the fifth element, it was only her voice used, so the singing ufo isn't really Mula

Vocal data

[edit]

Should it not be noted that she is indeed more of a Lyric sorprano with coloratura capabilities?? Having recently downloaded her collection of favourite arias it seems like a no brainer to me (added to the live performances which I have witnessed). I guess either way she is an exceptional vocalist, an inspiration in technical ability.BrotherDarksoul (talk) 03:26, 09 February 2012

Some additional sources for consideration

[edit]

Hello! I am noticing that the article on Inva Mula is in dire shape, so I went out and scouted some sources. I'm not very knowledgeable on her career so I can't really draft a good edit to this article without getting something wrong, but I am able to find reliable sources for the article:

  • "Biographie de Inva Mula". Ôlyrix (in French). (Note: Ôlyrix is a French opera biography site, and it doesn't seem to be user-generated.)
  • Llanque, Roxane (2024-02-29). "The Fifth Element (1997): An Aria for Humanity". Bright Wall/Dark Room. (Critic's review of one of the operas she participated in.)
  • "Inva Mula". Top Awards (in Albanian). Top Channel. (Brief biography about her by Top Channel, the publisher manages Albania's nationally recognized music chart.)
  • "Inva Mula : son actualité culturelle". L'Officiel des spectacles (in French). (overview of her discography by French music publication)
  • Vasili, Eni; k, m.; me, ed.; d., d. (2017-09-22). "INTERVISTA E PLOTË/ Inva Mula: Në skenë jam divë, por jo në jetë". BalkanWeb (in Albanian). {{cite web}}: |first3= has generic name (help) (Transcript of full interview with Mula by News 24, subsidiary of BalkanWeb)

Also more generally:

I will be adding the text above to the Albanian talk page as well, as it is in dire need of improvement. Fallbackintoreality (tc) 01:35, 18 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
