An Earlier TV Series

[edit]

During the 1950's there was a syndicated TV series titled "Into The Night". It might have been produced and/or distributed by ZIV.

It was a half-hour and REALLY scary. Usually the entire episode took place at night.

The show opened with a clock striking midnight. A shadowy figure appeared and said something like: "Good Evening! They call me 'the man who walks by night'. I am known in many corners of the world as a collector - a collector of strange stories, such as the one I have tonight."

As a kid, I never missed this show, though it usually scared the **** out of me!

This has to be one of the most obscure series in the history of television - I can find NOTHING on the web regarding it.

Does anyone else remember this series or can anyone give a link to any information about it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.199.12.52 (talk) 04:42, 18 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
