inthemix.com.au links dead

when junkee sold out, it closed the online websites like inthemix.com.au and fasterlounder.com.au which are linked in many articles. they all need updating to archived versions (wayback has them) Stevene1919 (talk) 15:24, 26 October 2025 (UTC)

sites may also be known as inthemix.junkee.com and fasterlouder.junkee.com or just on junkee.com

most versions redirect incorrectly to blah junkee.com/page so you'll need to go back pre `~2015

notability of website

@Alexandermcnabb this website was for nearly 20 years a large presence in the Australian dance music scene. many articles quote articles from it, also other brands under junkee such as fasterlouder until they folded it all into junkee, aged out of the scene and sold the company. if anything its content could be merged with that of junkee media and the current junkee has already been updated to reflect its current situation. although the junkee media brand is also owned by the same company. Hey @Stevene1919 - it's really all about the sourcing. Notability on Wikipedia is defined as independent, significant coverage to pass Wikipedia:GNG, the general notability guideline. Additional to that, there is a further notability guideline, WP:NCORP that defines notability for commercial companies. Right now, there is arguably not enough coverage from reliable sources WP:RS to satisfy those guidelines. Basically, you're looking for sound evidence of lasting impact or importance... @Alexandermcnabb i do understand the notability requirements of Wikipedia, its probably just a matter of time for me or others before the article can be improved. its currently archived by national library of Australia trove as a notable inclusion https://trove.nla.gov.au/ Stevene1919 (talk) 14:51, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
