Expansion from two lanes to three

Originally there were only two lanes in each direction, but at some point during the initial construction the decision was made to increase this to three lanes in future construction and to add a third lane to the already-built sections. The bridges had all been constructed with three lanes to allow for this to be done more easily. I don't have any references for this so I won't add it to the article, but perhaps someone can find one and add this. Indyguy (talk) 15:39, 15 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
