Needs history

[edit]

This was a very historic meeting, starting from the TCP/IP Interoperability workshops in Monterey California around 1987. (Explain the name) Founded by Dan Lynch and then sold to NetWorld (the Novell conference) as I recall. Should be sources in the early trade publications when someone has the time. 2026 status?

[edit]

Does the Las Vegas Interop still exist? I can't find any evidence that it does. The website is defunct and has been for some time. The Tokyo Interop is apparently getting 150,000 visitors every year, which would make it twice the size of the Las Vegas one. But is it directly related other than having the same name?
