IPSTAG

[edit]

Typo for "ISPTAG", innit. (Ref = personal communication from someone close to the matter in 199mumble...) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ewx (talkcontribs) 10:35, 1 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

My recollection from the time was it was intended to be ISP tag but a typo of IPS tag because stuck after some reliance on automation as IPS so it was never fixed, need to find a citation for it and consider renaming this page to reflect the true name. Robidy (talk) 20:58, 23 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

.uk suffix only?

[edit]

Not very clear what domains this applies to - I understand it is just .uk domains. Please check! Martin Dixon (talk) 18:40, 26 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

It does mention the uk TLD at the end of the first paragraph. Ewx (talk) 09:14, 27 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

The reference to IPS tag in the whois results is long gone so maybe even worth merging into the main Nominet article Robidy (talk) 21:01, 23 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

The article appears to have it's early edits by an IP registered to "Database Advertising plc" with early backlinks to web sites. Robidy (talk) 21:05, 23 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

The link to 'List of Registrars and their Tags at Nominet' being http://www.nominet.org.uk/registrars/becomeregistrar/taglist/ does not work any more. I cannot immediately see an alternative. SandJ-on-WP (talk) 11:30, 27 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
