What is a "linear interferometer"?

[edit]

The qualification linear is often used (e.g. in Boson sampling, second sentence, or in List of types of interferometers), but I cannot find an explanation for it. Could that be added somewhere, please? --H.Marxen (talk) 17:33, 8 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

MOS conflict?

[edit]

In my opintion, this article seems to go against MOS:SEEIMAGE, and by extension, perhaps WP:NOTGUIDE. I don't think there's specific guidance on the exact thing this article does (refering to images and files like a scientific paper would), but it feels like it's probably implicitly discouraged. I fixed the single occurrence of "left". Johnjbarton (talk) 16:29, 23 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
