Disambiguation of adjective "integral" in nuclear science context
[edit]As a physicist (however with no specialisation in nuclear reactors) I always thought that "integral reactor" referred to reactors designed to fission a significant fraction of the generated waste, thanks to good neutron economy - see e.g. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Integral_fast_reactor#Onsite_reprocessing_using_pyroprocessing <<Onsite processing is what makes the IFR "integral".>>
How widespread in the literature is the meaning referred to in this article?
A disambiguation page is necessary anyway. ~2025-36314-33 (talk) 10:01, 25 November 2025 (UTC)
