I am an employee of the Institute on Governance and I have disclosed this relationship on my user page and the Talk page. I have prepared a revised article in my sandbox. The proposed changes are to update information that is outdated or incomplete, as well as to correct factual and organizational details where the current article no longer reflects accurate information. I updated the organizational description and type for accuracy, and I expanded the history section to better reflect IOG's development since its founding. In the final section presented IOG's activities in a clearer and more neutral structure, with sourced examples. The draft uses descriptive, factual language and includes examples to illustrate the organizations work and avoids promotional language or unsupported claims about the organization's significance or impact. I have used reputable independent sources wherever reasonable available, including Government of Canada sources, parliamentary records, universities, and other third-party publications and institutional sources. I welcome changes, omissions, or restructuring by an uninvolved editor where they would improve neutrality, sourcing, or compliance with Wikipedia's policies.
