Inspiration Copper
[edit]Inspiration was either founded or became the company town for the Inspiration Consolidated Copper Company, which operated the mines for many years. I think the townsite for Inspiration is now divided between Miami and Claypool. Portions of the town were destroyed as the open-pit mines expanded. --Pete Tillman (talk) 19:59, 23 June 2018 (UTC)
