@Trappist the monk reverted an edit I made where I linked the name of Ingrid Munro's late husband to his Wikipedia article. The reason given was based on the cite that followed the husband's name. I want to know how to do things correctly, so I was hoping Trappist, or someone else, could explain whether it is improper to link to the spouse's Wikipedia entry in this case. Your version of the template looked like this:

The template emits the error message because it is not possible to link the value assigned to |title= (or parts thereof) to two places simultaneously. If you want to link to Robert Donald Munro you must do so outside of the citation template.
