I've hidden the sentence on buildingsmart . It's not about IFC, maybe someone wants to make a new wikipedia entry on this topic? --DuLithgow 08:39, 2 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Not object-oriented

[edit]

IFC is NOT object-oriented, even if the ISO-standard say so. The objects have no methods.

Alphabetize list of vendors supporting IFC

[edit]

Perhaps the vendor list should be alphabetized. Mike P. Abell 22:38, 10 February 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mikepabell (talkcontribs)

IFC-ZIP

[edit]

The article only mentions IFC-SPF as zipped file. http://www.buildingsmart-tech.org/specifications/ifc-overview also mentions IFC-XML as a possibility.BartYgor (talk) 10:25, 7 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

IFC is not CAD

[edit]

There are several errors on the article. As an example, IFC is not a CAD data exchange data schema.

I would say that the whole article should be revised, but I'm reluctant to start is as I'm not skilled enough in the wikipedia environment. Perhaps someone else can start this revision...

Sources of information should include:
