This text (sources unclear): "Independence Hall, which was initially called Pennsylvania State House, was completed in 1733." and "The State House was built between 1732 and 1753".

The lead was supposed to be 1753, I've fixed it. The source in the body says that it was completed in 1753, which is backed up by this and this. You're free to edit the article to say that several sources give different completion dates. This source gives a date of 1734-1735, for example. This often happens with articles about very old buildings; the year of completion is sometimes disputed. –Epicgenius (talk) 14:29, 4 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
