For children?
[edit]The Black Hood #5, Hit Coffee (that's the character's name, I'm not joking), uses the word ASS uncensored. I don't think these titles were marketed towards children or younger readers in anyway. I own most of the Impact run that DC published, and most of it seems to be towards readers at least 14 and up. - They were marketed to children, yes. 'Ass' at the time wasn't censored from television, so why would it be from a comic book? Newstands at the time were experiencing their collapse, which is probably why new comics never made it to the stands...
