In the "Box office" section, the following information to be updated, based on official and trusted cinema industry information available in the internet and public domain:

As of 10 October 2025, Idly Kadai has grossed ₹58.08 crore (US$6.5 million) worldwide (box-office sources below). Idly Kadai was declared a flop commercially, as it has hardly recovered 50% of the total production budget of ₹104 crores. With rapidly declining collections, and with other movies like Kantara: Chapter-1 having a phenomenal run globally, Idly Kadai would need at least another ₹50 crores by end of October 2025, to break even.

There are so many issues with this request, that I'm not sure where to begin.

It is not very specific, which is required.

If I understand you correctly that you want the paragraph you've written to be inserted, then a serious issue is that it lacks inline citations. (Or maybe you meant that the two sources you've added would be inserted at the end of the paragraph, in which case that could be acceptable, although inline citations are preferred.)

It is also written in a rather promotional tone not in line with NPOV, which is not allowed. If you want examples of bits I think are not NPOV:

"was declared a flop" is not encyclopaedic or neutral. Referring to someone making such a declaration could be ok (but not in this section) if it explicitly attributed the word flop to the person who said it.

Another issue can be (I have not really checked yet) that it may be difficult for responding editors to check the text you've written is supported by the sources you've given, because it is not a small change. Please check edit requests § General considerations
