character settings and background info

[edit]

The background info may need some rewriting tbh,

and the character settings too, uh... i don't feel like it's too important to be given a whole elaborated section on wikipedia. Trugipedia (talk) 14:43, 16 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

to elaborate, the background info clashes with itself too much. readers fail to differentiate between the (not-yet-known-to-be-actually-two) protagonists. while the first part talks of Alice and her origin, the second part talks about Orpheus and well, literally just the infamous first cutscene of the game. istg if netease plans to gatekeep us from orpheus any longer
and, is the part where the deross purchases the manor necessary? despite whatever lore crumbs we have gathered, the main lore of the story has always been about orpheus and his connection to the games, which isnt available here yet. Trugipedia (talk) 14:50, 16 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Dead by Daylight

[edit]

The most important part of this game is that it is a blatant copy of Dead by Daylight. The fact that this is mentioned nowhere in the article gives me pause. Was this article sabotaged by Identity V devs? 107.191.2.5 (talk) 01:56, 29 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

The fact that this game is a copy of DBD is common knowledge, so I doubt the devs would take time out of their day to edit a Wikipedia article mentioning it. Also many fans of this game do not really care that it’s a DBD copy so I don’t think they would put it into this article. 106.70.84.115 (talk) 13:59, 21 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Basic Gameplay

[edit]

I think the final section in the "basic gameplay" section that talks about in-game currency should get its own section, as it isn't related to the gameplay of the game. A brief mention of in-game cosmetics such as skins, accessories, and pets can be mentioned here, as it can be argued that since you see these items while playing a match, they are a part of the basic gameplay-however, details on how in-game currency is obtained is not related to the basic gameplay of what goes on during a match, and therefore should be put in a separate section. 206.211.154.121 (talk) 20:41, 9 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Controversy

[edit]

Identity V has gotten in a lot of controversy lately surrounding the usage of AI as well as racism and colorism in its content. While I don't have sources, I think it would be a good idea to tackle it. BCapri03 (talk) 21:31, 15 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
