Did you know that two twins were separated at birth for a study were reunited 35 years later?

Travb, this raises many interesting questions regarding medical ethics, and what degree is it "right" to play god in people's lives for the greater good. Considering the potential return from this study, an ambiguous result at best, I don't see how it was justifiable. Oh Mr Devil, the medical ethics of this case are trivial compared to Head transplants. I hope in my lifetime I can have a headless clone made of me and I can then transplant my old head to the new body. Hope dies last, or in my case, I will die with the hope. Maybe my son will be able to do this. He wants to be a scientist, and I encourage him to pursue this. The technology is possible but [[Conflict thesis|the same opponents] are blocking such revolutionary research.

I don't know how much you have studied medical ethics, and I don't know if you are American, but the medical experiments that the US government has done to its own citizens is appalling, making this case trivial in comparison. Here are some articles and sections I wrote:

1. Chemical_warfare#United_States_Senate_Report The full report documents biological and radiation experiments too. Mention of these experiments were deleted by other editors later.

The book is not a biography, which is a term used to describe a book written about a famous person. Instead, it is a memoir. Also, there were 13 individuals involved in the initial research study -- five sets of twins and one set of triplets. All but perhaps one or two sets of twins have reunited. It is important to clarify that neither set of adoptive parents were told that their daughter was a twin. Since I am a co-author of the book, I feel uncomfortable adding this information myself. But I think it's worth mentioning.Twinstrangers (talk) 20:20, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

follow up?

I'm watching some videos about what happened to these Twins and Triplets. There is a suggestion that there remained, after the documentary, some sets of twins who participated in the study who had not found each other yet.
