This article is indeed too casually written and selective for an encyclopedia entry. I am happy to take on the copy editing, but that chore should be delayed until the content is more acceptable.

Much of the information that needs to be included for a more comprehensive presentation can be found at http://www.ccg-gcc.gc.ca/Icebreaking/Ice-Navigation-Canadian-Waters/Navigation-in-ice-covered-waters, which strikes me as a trustworthy source.

Another trustworthy source is Baltic Ice Management (Baltice) which covers winter navigation in the Baltic Sea. Tupsumato (talk) 10:56, 6 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
