I appreciate the addition of info about this song. However, I edited the page to reflect the actual lyrics content. I saw the show with the L.A. cast in 1983, bought the vinyl album, the digital version of the album and love that song!! She did not say "I need a man" and if/when you see the film, I hope they retain this song in it's original form with these phenomenal lyrics!!

Bianca Ryan changed the lyrics to "And I'm Telling You (I'm Not Going)" from "you're the best man I've ever known (I'll ever know)" to "you're the best FRIEND I've ever known" in her first performance on AGT.

"I Am Changing" and "And I'm Telling You I'm Not Going" are two different songs. Bianca Ryan sung the latter on America's Greatest Talent. 209.247.22.161 15:10, 16 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
You're half-right: they are indeed two songs, but Ryan sang "AIATYING" for her America's Got Talent audition and "IAC" for the finale. RadioKirk (u|t|c) 16:28, 16 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
