What was before?

[edit]

World Tour started in 1996, while ITTF was established in 1926. What competitions/tour/series did it replace? It didn't just started overnight. 213.149.61.225 (talk) 13:17, 1 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Tiers

[edit]

At some point it had different tiers; around 2013 there were 3: Super Series, Major Series and what today is Challenge Series. It should be covered in the article and marked in the table of tournaments (which edition was which category). Setenzatsu (talk) 20:34, 21 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Table Tennis World Cup "ranking" in World Tour

[edit]

On the Table Tennis World Cup page it is stated "The competitions are sanctioned by International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) and classified as R1 in rating weightings, B2 in bonus weightings in the ITTF world ranking." Where does that put in in ITTF World Tour tournament tree (which tier would it be? - equal to Grand Final?)? Setenzatsu.2 (talk) 21:10, 21 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
