2025 Results

[edit]

The 2025 results first published were later revised as, among others, TH Nurembergs results in the traction challenge were wildely inaccurate. The (hopefully) correct results were published on the official website without any mention of this error. https://www.imeche.org/news/news-article/the-network-rail-and-colas-rail-team-win-railway-challenge-2025 DasSchiff3 (talk) 15:39, 28 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hello DasSchiff3, comparing the two results of results at and , the ranking appears the same, but the point scores somewhat different. Assuming that is correct, have added a footnote (Special:Diff/1335356457) for the moment. Ideally somebody at IMechE could add a mention of why the results contain a visible difference. (It's a bit surprising to see academics silently not mentioning something like this!).
BTW, while you are here; do you have any self-made photographs that could be used to illustrate this Wikipedia article? …Managed to miss the chance to photograph the two locos (Sheffield + Derby's) at the Greatest Gathering… —Sladen (talk) 20:28, 28 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
Hi, sorry I didn't see the reply bc. I don't use wiki logged in often. I sent you an email via wikipedia regarding the results issue.
Regarding the photos, yes, I do in fact have lots of photos. DasSchiff3 (talk) 17:48, 24 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
