Conflicting information

[edit]

In the info box, it says the distance to the Cocoon Nebula is about 2,500 LY. In the article, it says 7,000 LY. They both have different sources. Which one is correct? One should be removed or changed. If there is dispute within academic papers, that should be mentioned. Minnastronomer (talk) 20:55, 20 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

It shines

[edit]

What does the sentence 'It shines at magnitude +10.0/+9.3/+7.2.' refer to? Are that magnitudes (which) of the nebula or of stars (which) of the cluster? Maybe remove the sentence. The object is als degrees away from the objects mentioned in the next sentence, so I wonder what is the use of this information. Hobbema (talk) 21:01, 21 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
