This page needs a redirect from "DataExplorer" and "Data Explorer" but I don't know how to do it. 129.219.55.204 20:28, 31 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

The server, opendx.org, which had been hosted at the San Diego Supercomputer Center no longer exists. The pages are still there, but you can no longer get the code or binaries from this address. The company, Visualization and Imagery Solutions, Inc., will send binaries on CD, charging a small fee. Prof larsen (talk) 14:39, 1 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

I'm afraid Professor Larsen is mistaken. I just downloaded the source code for ver. 4.4.4. The site hasn't been updated with news in a couple years, but defunct? I think not. 99.254.26.205 (talk) 06:23, 8 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

I must question the "active development" status. There hasn't been an update since 4.4.4 in 2006, and it seems that OpenDX is no longer being actively maintained. Tristan (talk) 16:35, 16 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
