Feedback from New Page Review process

[edit]

I left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: This is fine as a stub, but this will need expanding in the near future as more sources become available.

5GW is not more energy than is currently used by the state of Louisiana

[edit]

Louisiana consumed 95,374,457 MW/h in 2023, according to the LLA (table at bottom of page 7), that is ~10.9GW

9,5374,457 / 8760 (hours in a year) = 10887.495 MW

10887.495 MW = ~10.9GW

The page currently claims "The facility is expected to consume up to 5 gigawatts (GW) of computational power, more electricity than is currently used by the entire State of Louisiana." the source it links to doesn't make the latter claim and it's wrong. This is also my first topic so apologies if it's laid out incorrectly. Cars2OnDVD (talk) 03:19, 8 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
