Accuracy

[edit]

I don't think that the first line accurately describes hypem's function, but I can't think of a good way to rephrase it.

The Guardian article "If you love.." is about music blogs, but the criticism which it supposedly referenced is not expressed in the article (possibly in the comments section, not a credible source). The blogs crawled by the Hypem can disable crawling, if they want that. Personally, I think that there is no "entire experience" to most music blogs, but that doesn't matter.

Also, both hypem and elbo.ws are linked in MP3 blog, but elbo.ws only has a redirect to "domain hacks". If one deserves an article, the other one does as well?!

Possibly even a comparison of elbo.ws solely aggregating posts and calculating "hotness", providing video links etc. to hypem actually streaming music, illegal Deezer-style.--Ruben (talk) 19:23, 27 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

transcoding

[edit]

I think it could be mentioned that the hype machine player plays their transcoded (at 128bit) cached version of the mp3s from the blogs--Matija (talk) 20:47, 14 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Objectivity questioned

[edit]

This "article" reads like a press release, or an ad. 70.179.23.9 (talk) 19:36, 13 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
