Geothermal energy, by Biden and Trump
[edit]https://open.substack.com/pub/doomberg/p/wildcatting-heat
This article does not mention geothermal energy in the section on Comparison and interactions with other methods of power generation. Support for development of geothermal energy continues under the Trump administration, unlike solar and wind. Pifvyubjwm (talk) 20:00, 11 March 2025 (UTC)

- What I think should be changed:
In Introduction section:
| − | In | + | In 2025, global installed hydropower electrical capacity reached almost 1,456 GW. |
- Why it should be changed:
Updates an outdated capacity figure with current official data.
- References supporting the possible change:
Renewable capacity statistics 2026

Partly done: I've updated the report, yet I have not removed the highest among all renewable energy technologies
since that fact still holds true. Hydroelectricity (1455 GW) is over 50% of the world's renewables, which is 2890 GW. In solidarity, Brynn Who Likes Editing | talk w/ me! 07:51, 24 August 2026 (UTC)
