In the "Impact in the United States" section, under the "New York" subsection, the sentence currently reads:

"Much of Lower Manhattan lost power, and the New York Stock Exchange closed for two consecutive days."

Suggested revision:

"Much of Lower Manhattan lost power, and the New York Stock Exchange was closed for two consecutive days."

Reason: "Was closed" is more precise and formal than "closed" in this passive context, improving clarity and style without changing meaning. Hannah.G.06 (talk) 20:02, 25 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
