Subject matter

[edit]

Is this a list of methods for hunting animals, military tactics, or assassination methods? It seems to include a bunch, and it cites no sources for any of the entries in the list. --Maru (talk) Contribs 04:28, 31 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Seconded! And many aspects of hunting animals are not covered here, so it's also quite patchy. Is "hunting" the best way to describe the military and assassination tactics described here? --TheGrappler 19:22, 31 December 2005 (UTC)Reply
Third. I'm going to delete them. Toiyabe 17:19, 21 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

I am going to remove any remaining content that is military or assassination in nature and further elaborate on wildlife hunting techniques.I am also going to change the format so that it is not just a bulleted list. Hnmccraw2 (talk) 15:46, 16 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Mimicry for humans?

[edit]

Of course, other animals hunt. The article aggressive mimicry doesn't speak of human hunters. Unless it mentions humans hunting with this technique, it shouldn't be cited in this article.

I took the initiative to remove it since it wasn't in the source. To be honest, mimicry has been occasionally used by humans, but without a reference, it's best to leave it out for now. Kortoso (talk) 21:36, 14 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Can we add Persistence Hunting?

It seems like it would fit. 69.58.248.1 (talk) 16:07, 30 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Spotlighting is listed twice

[edit]

In the listing of strategies, there are 2 separate entries of spotlighting. And one of them is out of alphabetical order 2600:1017:A410:1217:7158:D9FB:E869:64CF (talk) 15:12, 24 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
