[edit]

this page is faulty.

it says Hunahpu is the FATHER of the twins, but if you go to the twins page it says head upu is the father and that Hunahpu is one of the twins

The page is fine. Its your reading skills that need work. Not a single word of what you just said appears to have any truth to it.

Hunahpu is glossed "Head Apu" and the word Apu is wikilinked to the Quechua Apu (god). Is this really a word that Mayas and Incas had in common? I wasn't aware these cultures were connected. --88.66.29.16 (talk) 19:55, 15 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

I removed the nonsensical self-made name "Head Apu" and put the Popol Vuh name, Hun Hunahpu, back in place. I also removed the lengthy description of a minor archaeological discovery that has been claimed (but not proven) to be the head of a maize god. There is no need to include it here.Retal (talk) 13:31, 5 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
