Wolfire Games redirect?

[edit]

It looks like references to Wolfire Games elsewhere on Wikipedia redirect to this page. Wolfire was involved in the first couple Humble Bundles but they're a separate entity and this page doesn't sufficiently describe Wolfire's history nor the games they've created. ~2026-35463-10 (talk) 03:24, 18 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

likely because Wolfire does not meet nptability requirements on WP. Masem (t) 12:56, 18 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Wolfire Games. Jalen Barks (Woof) 03:29, 24 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
Understood, but Lugaru, Receiver, and Overgrowth were not developed by Humble Bundle as this redirect seems to suggest. If Wolfire does not meet notability requirements then doesn't it follow that their creative works also do not? ~2026-35463-10 (talk) 03:52, 24 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
Notability is not inherited on Wikipedia. Their games may be notable, but the company is not automatically notable from that. We do try to explain who Wolfire is, but we can't go into that much depth. Masem (t) 04:33, 24 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
Perhaps Overgrowth would be a better redirect target. IceWelder [] 17:21, 25 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
