I'm not an expert in the field so I may be way off, but the article says that hubs connect Ethernet (Layer 2) segments, but later states that hubs provide a Layer 1 connection. What gives?

A hub is simply a multiport repeater :)

New page for network hubs?

[edit]

Given that switches and routers have their own pages, should network hubs be on a separate page too? --65.147.5.120 03:40, 5 May 2005 (UTC) hi this waheed i want to share my advice to you that your hub is not ok —Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.209.67.159 (talk) 10:19, 13 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

aircraft parts and video games..

[edit]

can anyone backup the reference to computer games?

and in reference to part of an aircraft, is a hub a part that propellors attach to or is the hub the center of the propellor...?

anybody know?

[edit]

I have just added to Wikipedia - Hub with: Cultural Capital web sites providing forms of knowledge skills and education. The hyperlink I hoped would go to Wikipedia Cultural Capital cannot find the Wikipedia page for Cultural Capital.

Could anyone please tell me what I am doing wrong or how I could fix the problem.

Thank you.

James

Wikipedia hyperlinks have to be exactly the same as the titles they link to. Even to the use and non use of capital letters.
