Tooltips
[edit]A hoverbox can be programmed to be arbitrarily similar to a tooltip. So from the user's point of view, a tooltip is a specific type of hoverbox. So we shouldn't say that it's not a tooltip, we should say that it's a generalization / richer version of tooltips. ~2026-51122-5 (talk) 19:25, 23 January 2026 (UTC)
Better image
[edit]The image is misleading for several reasons:
- The context is almost entirely cropped, we don't see that the hoverbox covers some text
- It's a screenshot that contains a screenshot
- It shows a UI element (the hoverbox) that contains a screenshot of lots of other UI elements, so it's not very clear whether some of them might be hoverboxes
