What is the source for the assertion that Matilda was granted the March of Verona? This does not seem to be true. Yes, she came to a reconciliation with the counts of Verona (the San Bonifacio) in the early 1100s, but at no time (it seems to me) were the Margraves of Tuscany ever given the title of Margrave of Verona.
