Very common
[edit]Almost all American TV, national, local, cable, streaming, does "hot switch" for about 30 years now. Citation? Wouldn't know where to find one. I worked/work in TV broadcasting, and I was told to do it that way ever since I started, to retain viewers. 199.127.116.26 (talk) 03:32, 2 October 2025 (UTC)
