Horizontal means different sides of something.(Ex) Say if you went to Super Kmart and there's a shed.It opens top side to side and its called a Horizontal Shed. If you go to Super Kmart it is really there. You can put trashcans in it. But back to the point it is horizontal. Horizontal means different sides of something. Top to bottom and side to side.
