Please crunch the age numbers.

[edit]

At start of article is:

Hope Summers (June 7, 1902 – June 22, 1977)

That would make her age 75 when she died.

But then I see:

She was still a very active actress until the year before her death from congestive heart failure at age 81 in 1977. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.63.16.82 (talk) 20:58, 3 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

An editor inexplicably changed the subject's DOB which would account for the "mistake". I have since changed it back. Pinkadelica 01:50, 4 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Huh?

[edit]

This article states: "Though Witherell died in 1967, Summers continued acting until 1978..." This makes it sound like actors normally stop working once their spouses die - not sure that naturally follows.  Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:801:4280:A710:BDC7:3D22:971F:D8C (talk) 10:51, 9 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

number of appearances on the Andy Griffith Show

[edit]

I note this discrepancy: In the text, the number of appearances on the Andy Griffith Show is given as 36. In the filmography table, the number of appearances on the Andy Griffith Show is given as 32. Kathon (talk) 17:06, 4 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Ĥ Summers dates

[edit]

Why does short description give one date while text says something else else? DMc75771 (talk) 04:50, 25 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
