Hubert Martineau

Hubert Martineau was the man who owned and lived (for part of the year) in the huge white-painted house that sits behind a high brick wall on the northeast side of the green, and is now apartments. Would any editors who are interested in the history of Holyport please have a quick squint at his article and in particular the post I’ve just added to Talk:Hubert Martineau about playing cricket on the village green.
