Danny Finegood HOLLYWeeD sign

[edit]

It was Danny Finegood who changed the sign in 1976. https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-2007-jan-27-me-finegood27-story.html 71.63.175.25 (talk) 16:44, 5 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. The name "Phil Wiseman" was added by an IP with no other edits in this change a few months ago. I have corrected it. CodeTalker (talk) 18:37, 5 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
That's appreciated. Vandalism has a way of slipping through the cracks. Figureofnine (talkcontribs) 23:55, 5 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Sign destroyed in movies

[edit]

I just watched EARTHQUAKE 1974 and I did not see the sign getting destroyed at any point. 108.185.103.191 (talk) 00:38, 11 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Just saw this. The first source names a few films, not Earthquake. The second source is a Vimeo video. If you are still monitoring this page and want to remove "Earthquake," I won't object. Figureofnine (talkcontribs) 22:34, 1 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

"likeable"

[edit]

A campaign called "Likeable Lithuania" was mentioned, using "sic" after the first word. But "likeable" is one of the recognized standard ways to spell that word, so the "sic" was not valid. TooManyFingers (he/him · talk) 18:09, 23 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
