I'm not very knowledgeable on Bantu languages, so I don't know if there's significant pronunciation difference between the two, but the 2 different spellings of this town are almost interchangeable. I'm kinda on the WP noob side, so I don't know how it's determined which one becomes the referral page in a case like this (I'd assume newer article gets to be the referrer?).
