Overall: Created within a day of nomination, 1800 characters long. I didn't recognise any of the sources but TorrentFreak, the article's primary source, is considered reliable in this topic, and Screen Rant is considered marginally reliable, both per the RSP. AnimeMojo I have no idea about, searching the RSP and the list at the anime and manga subproject yielded no results. It is used in a handful of other articles, and here the only thing it is the only source for is to say that HiAnime was likely popular for a no-fee model and a lack of licensing limits, which seems, if not immediately obvious to an untrained observer, quite intuitive, so I'm willing to accept it. I am not sure why the SimilarWeb source is directly cited, as I am skeptical of its reliability, and I would think it only gains reliability through the mention in TorrentFreak, so I would err on the side of that being removed.
An Earwig copyright check brings up a false positive to a blog post that copies from the KissAnime article (written by this article's author!), and other than that the highest figure is 13.0%, so I think there are no copyright issues here. The hook is sourced and, I think, interesting, and so I can provisionally approve it (although would 'piracy anime streaming site' be better?), but I would like the sourcing issue to be dealt with, or if you think that all two mentioned sources are reliable, to explain why. Thanks for your work here! --LivelyRatification (talk) 09:17, 17 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
