Wold is rated of "low importance" for the Swedish project.

Wold should be Mid-importance, because of the depth of his results in multivariate statistics, time-series analysis, econometric statistics, and (econometric) mathematical economics. For the Swedish project, Wold may have been the most prominent economist in Swedish history, at least measured by the depth of his econometric statistics results. Wold's contributions to microeconomic theory (utility & demand theory, especially nonconvexities) and linear-systems are substantial. Wold's students, especially Whittle and Jöreskog, are among the most cited in economics (and the social sciences).
