Hey folks,
Just added some new info to HJ Good's page, including some biographical info, a link to his Attestation Paper, and the actual Victoria Cross Citation from The London Gazette.
I've noted the talk on this page about the VC's location, and would agree it should not be indicated until verified, just as the "talk" about Mr. Good being an alcoholic can't be properly verified/validated.
Mind you, after a little snooping, I did find an article on DND'd site informing us of the medal's whereabouts. Yes, it is dated '06, but wouldn't a simple phone call to the Legion office clear this all up?
It's also quite possible the medal in the cousin's hands (or whoever it - the relative - is) is a copy.
I've done enough research on Canada's VC's and the gallantry medals to know some of this stuff...I do work for Veterans Affairs Canada after all:)
