dehousing

[edit]

Tizard's part in the dehousing debate needs to be incorporated into this biography as it touched the highest levels of government and in the end won him few friends. --Philip Baird Shearer (talk) 13:11, 14 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Pronunciation

[edit]

"Tizard" is an unusual name and it's not obvious how to pronounce it. Does anyone know of a reliable source for it? Hairy Dude (talk) 00:10, 12 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Shock Doctrine should probably not be a source for this

[edit]

It's not necessarily that the book is so partisan, it's more that MKULTRA is not actually what the book is about at all, and the parts that are relevant to this article are only described as background context to explain the book's central metaphor. It's a book about economics that talks about MKULTRA and shock therapy as a metaphor for bad stuff purportedly done by neoliberalism. 07:59, 3 July 2023 (UTC)
