El Alamein Anachronism?
[edit]As he died in 1940, as confirmed by the CWGC, he cannot have been killed at either of the two Battles of El Alamein in 1942. The El Alamein War Cemetery, where he is not buried, is not exclusively for those killed in the battle. His grave could have been a concentration from makeshift war cemetery.Cloptonson (talk) 21:05, 19 January 2015 (UTC)
