Possible source - Getting Our Way
[edit]The UK BBC Four TV channel included a segment about Elliot in a 22 Feb 2010 programme, Getting Our Way. The programme covered the question of whether ethical foreign policy is or is not achievable; it made the point that Elliot supported Turkey because it acted as a bulwark between Russia and the UK's interests in the middle-east & India. Elliot's critics accused him of turning native, but he argued that there were capital considerations they had not taken into account. Right now the programme is available online, albeit I'm not sure if USians can see it. --Tagishsimon (talk) 14:23, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
