Grave site

[edit]

I removed some details regarding Darcy's grave site. They were unsourced, appear to be original research (contributor found the grave and used GPS to get its coordinates), and in most cases, the precise location of a grave is a trivial detail not appropriate for an encyclopedia article. Unless there is some special significance to the burial spot, let's stick with the city, and possibly the cemetery name. --Orlady (talk) 03:02, 3 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

True enough, after much effort I found the location. The first confusion is that the grave site is not at the celebrated Place Darcy. Second problem, was that the historic name of the cemetery has changed and it is now under the control of the City of Dijon. I have researched this location for quite some time and wished to share it and a photo (jpg). The best reference book on Darcy's work fails to distinguish the difference between the cemetery and the memorial fountain (Place Darcy) and I wished to have that noted in Wikipedia. I will settle for the correct name of the cemetery being noted. -- Peno Black (talk) 03:36, 3 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
