I think it would be better to give the revenue and net income in US dollars than in euros

Since it's an European company and therefore the Annual report is expressed in Euros is more than natural that the revenue is in Euros. Patomenn 02:29, 6 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Updating

[edit]

This article needs updating, as there have been some changes including Kasper Rorsted succeeds Prof. Dr. Ulrich Lehner; change of company's name from Henkel KGaA to AG & Co. KGaA. --Katoa (talk) 09:50, 15 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image needs replacement

[edit]

Hello all...

An image used in the article, specifically Image:Henkel HQ AV.jpg, has a little bit of a licensing issue. The image was uploaded back when the rules around image uploading were less restrictive. It is presumed that the uploader was willing to license the picture under the GFDL license but was not clear in that regard. As such, the image, while not at risk of deletion, is likely not clearly licensed to allow for free use in any future use of this article. If anyone has an image that can replace this, or can go take one and upload it, it would be best.

Competitors section

[edit]

This seems like an odd inclusion. It helps the reader but there are already categories for that in Wikipedia, plus this list can change. Thoughts?--BelBivDov (talk) 19:11, 24 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Merging Beauty Care and Laundry & Home Care into Consumer Brands

[edit]

  • What I think should be changed:

Henkel currently restructured its business units, merging the Beauty Care and Laundry Home Care Unit into "Consumer Brands". We would recommend combining the sections "beauty care" and "laundry and home care" under a new headline with a new introductory paragraph.

Consumer Brands
Henkel Consumer Brands is covering products in the areas of Laundry & Home Care and Hair.

The next paragraph (Henkel Beauty Care is one of the...) should be removed.

In the next sentence "Beauty Care" should be replaced with "hair and body care category".

In the sentence "Henkel Beauty Care presented...", "Beauty Care" should be removed.

In the sentence "The company continues to....", "professional beauty products" should be replaced with "professional hair care products".

The headline "Laundry and Home Care" should be removed.

In the senctence "Persil is the bigest brand...", "Laundry & Home Care Buiness" should be replaced with "Laundry & Home Care category".

  • Why it should be changed:

Changes should reflect new company structure introduced earlier this year.

Hello Spintendo, thank you for implementing the suggested changes. Unfortunately, my instructions were not clear enough. That is why you were not able to implement some of them. I will quickly restore the affected sentences and implement the intended changes myself. I hope that’s okay. I will be more precise with future edit requests. Thanks! History between 1945 and 1949

Big gap after the British took over in 1945, what happened after that? Was it just handed back to the family? Dahamsta (talk) 15:36, 18 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Adding book for further reading

[edit]

I would like to suggest adding the following book to a “Further reading” section:

  • Scholtyseck, Joachim (2026). Henkel. Vom Waschmittelhersteller zum Weltunternehmen. Munich: C. H. Beck. ISBN 978-3-406-83059-4

The book is a recent corporate history of Henkel written by a German historian and may be useful as background reading. Thanks for consideration! Irem at Henkel (talk) 15:15, 9 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

Add U.S. Soccer sponsorship

[edit]

I would like to suggest adding a brief mention of Henkel's sponsorship agreement with the U.S. Soccer Federation. If editors do not think a standalone sponsorship section is appropriate, I would also be happy with adding this to a broader marketing section, possibly alongside the existing material about the Miss Fa Beauty Pageant.

For transparency, I have a conflict of interest as I am making this request on behalf of Henkel.

Suggested wording:

== Sponsorship ==
In November 2024, Henkel entered into a multi-year sponsorship agreement with the U.S. Soccer Federation, covering more than 30 of its North American consumer and adhesive brands. The agreement made Henkel an official partner of U.S. Soccer and the presenting partner of the U.S. Soccer Young Player of the Year Awards.[1][2]

Red X symbol Declined  Sponsorships are business relationships to expand commercial exposure. In this case, the subject company funds a sports federation to gain promotional rights and connect with target audiences. Wikipedia does not facilitate these types of relationships.
