Dolgellau?

[edit]

I've always assumed this was from Hengwrt at Dolgellau, but I have yet to see this confirmed. Does anyone know for sure? garik 12:43, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

This was indeed one of the numerous MSS amassed at Hengwrt, near Dolgellau. The name of this article is misleading and incorrect, "The Hengwrt Chaucer" being the usual name ("Hengwrt manuscript" could be one of several hundred!). I'm moving the article in line with the name used at the National Library of Wales, were the MS is kept. Enaidmawr (talk) 19:00, 18 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I see at the end an incomplete treatise on the Seven deadly sins and other writings -- is anything more known about this?

(Also vermin? are we sure? That's an odd amount of just one corner of a MS for that to have happened). -- Michael Scott Asato Cuthbert (talk) 09:43, 2 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
