@User:AlphaBetaGamma: 1. I have extended the lead section. This should solve your problems with the summary. Consent? 2. I can't see where exactly the tone or style of this article does not correspond to the encyclopaedic tone. Can you please give me specific references? I have taken meticulous care to ensure that all my formulations are backed up by the sources cited. Ten CatCars (talk) 13:25, 3 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
The "Helene Cronin's view" section felt slightly off, at least for me as I don't think many articles have such a section. Sure, most music biographies does have sections describing their genres. "she is known for her tight lyrics and raw vulnerability" - This is cited by their own website and the interview with them. AlphaBetaGamma (Talk/report any mistakes here) 13:40, 3 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
In the german Wikipedia, for example in my articles on albums by Tori Amos, I have started to create these sections “the view of ...”. So far this has not led to any discussions there; I always provide evidence for everything and usually quote as indirect speech.
To be fair, I have to say that I'm German and only occasionally edit in the english Wikipedia. So I can't really judge what “the mood” is like there. What can we make of it now? Ten CatCars (talk) 14:01, 3 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

In an email exchange, Helene Cronin suggested that I leave her date of birth completely out of the article. I respect this and kindly ask you to stick to it. Ten CatCars (talk) 09:59, 9 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
