Picture?

[edit]

Be good to have a picture of one uploaded to the Commons and used in this article. I'd go take one myself but I'm in London. —Christiaan 00:36, 5 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Page move

[edit]

I moved this page because after checking my Maori dictionaries, I couldn't see why hei matau was being capitalized. It looked incorrect. It would be like saying, "Gee, I wish I had a Hook Pendant. Maybe I'll go to the Store and buy one, but first I should put on my Green Shoes and Leather Gloves." Mona-Lynn 11:54, 5 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Thanks ya!

[edit]

Thanks for editing the page. I was completely unaware that some of the Maori art Collectives use cattlebones.

That last comment was from me :)

I have really got to start remembering to put my tag on what I post :P--Venerable Bede 01:44, 8 Apr 2005 (UTC)

sources

[edit]

A lot of unsubstantiated commercial- driven definitions and canned, touristy meanings have crept in to this article, with unreliable websites for sources. It needs to come out.
